  2. Introduction The chameleon’s tongue is longer than its body. The chameleon is an awesome reptile. You are going to learn about what they eat, what adaptations they have, and who their predators are. Read on to learn more.

  3. Adaptations • Chameleons change color in order to be camouflaged • Chameleons have long tongues to catch its prey from far away • Chameleons have five toed claw- like feet to stay on trees

  4. Food • Chameleons like to eat insects. • Did you know chameleons eat other lizards? • Chameleons eat small birds.

  5. Predators • One of the chameleon’s predators is a snake. • A coucul is one of it’s predators too. • A hornbill is one of it’s predators too.
