  2. Active Working Groups • Inter-Registrar Transfer Policy (IRTP), Part B • Post-Expiry Domain Name Recovery (PEDNR) • Registration Abuse Policies (RAP) (Pre-PDP) • PPSC-PDP Working Group

  3. Inter-Registrar Transfer Policy (IRTP-B) • Charter Topics include:  • Urgent Return / Undo  • AC/Registrant conflict  • Change of Registrant vs. IRTP • Lock Status Practices • Analysis of Initial Comments and SG Statements, and presentation by Compliance • Breakout Group to examine Urgent Return ideas • Next Steps:  Draft Interim Report, Measure Consensus,Make Recommendations.

  4. Post-Expiry Domain Recovery (PEDNR) • Charter Topics: • Registrants and adequate opportunity for post-expiry recovery. • Registrar Provisions for post-expiry recovery • Adequate notice of expiration • Whois Indications that a name is in ARGP • Transfers during RGP • SG Statements received and discussed by the WG. • Measurement of consensus / positions via Survey. Results published after Nairobi • Next steps:  ??

  5. Registration Abuse Policies (RAP) (Pre-PDP) • Charter: • Catalog and Define various abuse types • Propose recommendations, including calls for PDPs, Best Practices, Compliance Actions, etc. • Initial Report published and open for comment thru Mar 28. • Many topics have unanimous or near-unanimous support. • Two areas (Cybersquatting, Uniformity of Contracts) show at least two positions. • Next Steps:  Analyze Comments & SG positions, draft final report.

  6. PPSC - PDP Working Group • Part of the GNSO Improvements Effort • Objective:  Review and Revise the PDP process as defined in the By-Laws. • Work divided in to Stages I -V.  Team is currently finalizing Stage V.  • Interim Report to be published after Nairobi. • Recommendations will be finalized and submitted to the PPSC
