How to Choose Right Stream In the world of management education, after first two semesters every management student is confused with the decision of their specialisation like which stream is best suited for them, choosing a specialization is the only question that keeps creeping in the brains of MBA students. Here we are giving some practical advice on what points should one keep in mind while selecting the area of specialization, these are the few points that student must consider:-

Personal Strength and Passion: Doing self introspection is the first and foremost thing Atammanthan is the key you have to do a self analysis of things you are good at is must try to discover your strengths and passion, there are multiple specializations available today but it’s important that you choose your field of specialization based on your personality, skills, and career goals what you’re interested in is the most important factor to be considered.

Educational Background Educational background your gradation subject plays an important role, students with an engineering background have the scope to select for different areas and usually go for operations (production, services). However they can also go for other disciplines like marketing, human resources and even finance.

  5. Your Personality Type Your own personality type, i.e. an introvert vs. an extrovert personality type and the personal interests should also be taken into consideration. Anybody who likes meeting and interacting with people and fond of travelling should go for the marketing field, while an introvert person having an interest in analysis and office work should go for strategic management or human resources management.

  6. The females have greater empathy and for girls personnel management (human resources) can be a good choice. Moreover travelling is not there and it has fixed timings, someone driven by targets and continuous challenges may again find marketing more challenging. Students with an accounts backgrounds make very good financial analysis

  7. Alumni Try to gather information about the faculty who will be teaching you the respective subjects. See the placement records of the institute, consider all these factors and then come to a conclusion. This will be helpful for you in choosing the right specialization.
