  2.  SDLC is abbreviated as Software Development Life Cycle.  The methodologies of software development will be used in the computer based information systems.  The various stages or phases passed through the growth of the information SDLC.

  3. The seven stages or phases of Software Development Life Cycle are  Requirement  Analysis  Design  Coding  Testing  Implementation  Maintenance

  4.  This is the first stage, where the required information are gathered from the customer.  The Analyst makes a survey by collecting all the available information needed for the system elements and allocation of the requirements to the software.

  5.  In this phase, the system engineer analyze the requirement for the proposed system.  From the available information, the system engineer develops a list of use cases and system level requirement for the project.

  6.  The design is the process of designing exactly how the specifications are to be implemented.  Analysis and design are very important in the whole development cycle.

  7. Implementation Implementation  In this section, only developers are involved for coding or programming. Testing Testing  Once the coding is done, the analyst go through it and test the system for the product requirements.

  8.  After the release of the product, customers or clients give their feedback with respect to the product performance and requirements.  If there is any bug found at any time then the product will go for the maintenance.
