  3. Where does a kangaroo live? • Kangaroos live in the grasslands of Australia.

  4. What are kangaroos’ enemies? • Their enemies are us, eagles, and wild dogs.

  5. What does a kangaroo eat? • Kangaroos eat grasses and plants.

  6. How do kangaroos look? • Kangaroos have thick hair. They can be shades of gray, brown or red.

  7. Would a kangaroo be a good pet? • A kangaroo would not be a good pet because it would be too big and it would hop too high.

  8. Special characteristics that help them live in the grasslands of Australia. • They don’t sweat so they can live in very hot places. They pant like dogs to cool off.
