Key Points • MSF is a national, not-for-profit organization with a world view and U.S. focus. • Up are motorcycle sales, crashes, and demand for safety training. • MSF develops curricula, certifies instructors, establishes standards, recognizes sites, and assures quality. • Rider education and training is an effective safety countermeasure, and is a key piece in the puzzle toward a motorcyclist safety system. • MSF is involved in program development, licensing, research, and communications. • Primary issues are effective training, licensing, alcohol use, use of protective gear, and riders making the right choices.

  5. IDENTITY We are an internationally recognized not-for-profit foundation, supported by motorcycle manufacturers, providing leadership to the motorcycle safety community through our expertise, tools, and partnerships.

  6. MISSION To make motorcycling safer and more enjoyable by ensuring access to lifelong quality education & training for current and prospective riders, and by advocating a safer riding environment.
