  1. Eric and Tim’sRoad trip toNORTH CAROLINA! 648.33 miles 13 hours STRAIGHT…

  2. …in the rain… …all day and all night… …on nothing but classic rock and pixie sticks…

  3. Eric “The Machine” Marston got us to Manteo, NC no later than 5:00am Saturday morning After which we had no one to greet us and no place to go.

  4. So, in all our over-tired-ness we explored the TNT toilets, as animated to the left. Roamed the streets (street), and waited in the parking lot of a diner for it to open (at 6:00am), so that we could funnel in some more caffeine and be ready for our first day in NC.

  5. Jeremy-less and confused, Eric and I set out adventuring. Saw a boat, slept on some dock, and listened to lots of people talk funny.

  6. Shannon and Larissa took good care of us after we finally found them. We ran around on the dunes… And discovered cacti the hard way…

  7. Saw a fox, some driftwood… …and witnessed the official sport of the Outer Banks: “Driving on the beach with your truck that has big tires”.

  8. Perfect weather all weekend for truck-sightin’, beach-bummin’ and kite flyin’

  9. Finally complete, we three comrades built ourselves a monster of a sand castle. Did lots of swimming and attempted some shallow water surfing, but that only lasted until we broke our board, which wasn’t long.

  10. Tried out 5 different types of go-carts. Most were fast, some just hurt a lot to drive.

  11. Create your own caption.

  12. I felt ashamed that I didn’t have a truck with big wheels and a fishing bench complete with rod-holders on the front.

  13. But Jeremy pulled through and we got to go beach runnin’ just like the natives!

  14. After some great kabobs on the grill we played some cards and then made a great bon-fire on the beach, made from driftwood and dry-ish grass and enjoyed some great improv stories by Eric.

  15. Me and Eric standing together by the Cheasapeake Bay Bridge. A road trip to dominate all road trips! But it must come to an end… More coffee and classic rock for the ride home!
