AOL Apart from offering the feature of storing personal and business mails after creating folders also allows you to block emails from unwanted sender who can be any individual, service and businesses. The availability of this feature helps you to stop up to 1000 email addresses without downloading a plug-in, buying any drivers or using third party application. If required, you can also unblock the email addresses. For accessing this feature go to Mail Controls option. It has been observed that maximum email received are unwanted and unsolicited are known as Spam. After blocking specific senders you can minimize the amount of unwanted emails. It can be done by adding a Filter in spam settings.

On AOL Desktop 10.1 Version- Click on Mail icon after logging in to account. Go to Spam Controls from Settings option. Then select Edit Spam Controls for setting AOL Desktop 10.1’s mail controls. Select the circle available next to Block mail from addresses I specify. Enter the email addresses which you want to block by separating each of them with comma. Select Save after typing all email addresses. A message will appear and click OK. To finish the settings click Save and close the Settings – Mail window.
