Blog: Statesmandebate.com VITAL TIPS FOR PUBLIC SPEAKING Public speaking skills are really important in every aspect of life and are crucial if your goal is to become a leader in in your endeavors. Here I am trying to enlighten you some important tips which can prove to be helpful with your public speaking capability.  Positive mental attitude: Many people are afraid of public speaking because of the nervousness when they stand on the stage and face the many eyes locked on them. So actually, there is nothing to be afraid of. Fear could be overcome easily, all you need is some practice. Consider enrolling yourself in a debate club or model congress for that. Voice projection: I strongly believe that voice is the most important feature of public speaking. The variation in the speaker’s voice makes it interesting and emotional. It is recommended to not to use one tone during the course of the speech because it makes the entire monologue boring and ineffective. It is highly advisable to ask a public speaking coach for help here. Eye contact: it is another important thing of efficient public speaking because of a common principal, someone will listen to you when he/she feels that you are addressing them. Eye contact is really important to establish a relationship with the audience. Body language: it is another important element in speech delivery. Effective use of body language can make speech lively, or it can also pose a threat and or exhibit embarrassment to the audience. Consider attending public speaking seminars to learn about it more. Practice: well, I don't think I need to explain this point. Just remember, PRACTICE MAKES A MAN PERFECT!    
