  1. Searching for a job, in general, can be a stressful task, and the process is overwhelming if you are searching for jobs overseas. Whether you are planning to move to London for work or trying your hand at job hunting in the US or any other country, read the following tips to before starting your overseas job search. Studies have shown that only a small percentage of overseas jobs are filled directly by the company and about 80% is through networking or international recruitment consultants, or referrals. Thus, build your online reputation because nowadays, most of the international job consultants in India check your online reputation before forwarding your CV to the potential firms.

  2. In the country, you have chosen or want to move/are moving to, as well as any organization with foreign offices. Also, make sure your CV shows that you’ve done your research: tailored to the job roles, the working culture of the company, and in the format of the country to which you are applying. Include interesting hobbies apart from work and volunteering, freelancing in your CV and try to be your (professional) self. Hiring managers look for someone who has a strong and appealing personality, and who have the abilities to perform well in the given job role.

  3. To check the company, area, the city you’re planning to move or you’re interested in. Though it’s an expensive and risky truth, still you should consider checking everything beforehand; unless you already work for the organization and have the option to relocating for work abroad. This will help you to make a better decision about moving that country. Keeping these things in mind will definitely help you in deciding which organization and country will satisfy your long term goals.
