Introduction • Many of them know that veterinarians are specialized in treating pet animals but how many of them do know that there are different types of veterinarian specialists. • In most cases if pet is injured or suffer from any disease, you will take it to the general veterinarian to treat it.

Dentistry • Dental care is very important for pet animals since it is vital to overall general health maintenance. • There are veterinarians who specialize only in treating dental issues of animals. • Examining an animal’s teeth can sometimes be quite difficult and it is better to have an experienced dental specialist on hand.

  5. Emergency Care • Emergency care veterinarians are well trained in handling all type of medical condition which is brought to them on an emergency basis. • They are expert in handling medical condition like injury, stroke, heart attack and other emergency related conditions.

  6. Anesthesiology • Anesthesia is given to the pet animal during surgery.
