  1. Dedicated: Essential Tips for  Dressing Better at Work    Everyone knows that clothing makes the all-important first impression, but many men are stuck in their outdated style and dressing habits. Many men feel like they are too busy to take an interest in style or that men’s clothing trends are too difficult to follow, but that’s simply not true. Here are a few tips to transform your outdated work wardrobe into something that sends the right impression and lets you put your best foot forward. Size matters A popular maxim states that “Wearing clothes that fit properly will solve 90% of your style problems” When clothes don’t fit properly, they throw off your body proportions. Clothes that are too big make a person not only look sloppy, but fatter and shorter than they really are. Men oftentimes have the tendency to wear clothes that are too big for them because it either “feels more comfortable”, or they just don’t know how clothes are meant to fit. Here are a few guidelines ● The break in a pair of trousers is the fold or creasing of the fabric above the bottom of the front of the trouser leg where it meets your shoe. Trousers should be 1” longer than the break. ● A properly fitted waistcoat should fit snug in the body but not so tight that the buttons pull. It should be long enough to hit about an inch below the trouser waistband, showing no shirt between the two garments. ● Shirt sleeves should come all the way down to the large wrist bones (at the base of the pinky/ring fingers). When you’re wearing a jacket, about 1/2 inch of shirt cuff is seen beyond the end of the jacket sleeves.

  2.     Ditch the prints Many younger men in the workforce are seeking to look professional/more mature/get taken more seriously. One of the ways is to stay clear of graphics, logos, and wild prints on any kind of clothing, whether it’s a t-shirt, sweater, or even trousers. When you’re starting out in the workforce, a wardrobe built on solid colours is going to make you look 10x more mature and serious. ● Replace your graphics t-shirts with solid versions, or upgrade to polos and oxfords. Neutral colours; the key to success Every man’s wardrobe should be based around neutral colours. Neutral colours aren’t overpowering and tend to easily mix with each other. If your wardrobe is all neutral

  3. colours, you don’t need to know “how to mix and match colours”. A neutral colour wardrobe is the ultimate low-maintenance mix and match. Neutral colours are ● white ● black ● navy ● olive ● grey ● khaki ● brown Takeaway Many men don’t take an active interest in dressing well. With the many styles out there, men feel overwhelmed and prefer to stick to their comfortable routine. In many cases, men don’t realize how their mens workwear choices are giving off a negative impression. There are many easy ways to give your men’s workwear wardrobe an overhaul, from ditching prints, embracing neutral tones and paying attention to fit. You can find simple classic work clothes online from trousers and stylish waistcoats to dress shirts that are sure to please.
