Come into a standing position with your feet under your hips and lengthen your body as you fold your upper body forward, keeping a slight bend in your knees. Cat Cow – This is an incredible exercise that lets you release the tension in your neck. Begin on all fours with your hands under your shoulders and your knees under your hips. As you inhale allow your belly to fill with air and lower toward the floor and keep your head up and lower your chin slightly. As you exhale hold your position for a couple of seconds and return to center. Now tuck your chin into your chest as you round your spine letting your head hang down and hold this for 10 to 12 seconds and return to your starting position then repeat. 3. Needle Threader – Pain the neck can spread to the shoulders and upper back too and this asana helps relieve that. Start on all fours with your wrists under your shoulders and your knees under your hips as you lift your right hand and move it over to the left along the floor with your palm facing up. Now press your left hand into the floor for support as your rest your body on your right shoulder and look over to the left. Hold this position for 30 seconds then slowly release and return to your pose then repeat on the other side.
