  2. You're Secure is a manufacturing business based in Redbank Ipswich, in the Western Suburbs of Brisbane. We service all of South-East QLD, from the Gold Coast to the Sunshine Coast and everywhere in between. We manufacture a wide range of security products for the residential home and commercial building industry. We custom make and install everything including Fly Screens, Fly Doors, Security Screens, Security Doors and more.

  3. Our Timber Venetians come in 3 different ranges; Fashionwood, Basswood and Cedar. All 3 are custom made and come with the same components in the top track. The only difference is the material in the timber blades/slats themselves. The Fashionwood range is our imitation timber range, the Basswood is a natural Canadian Hardwood and Cedar is a Natural Timber blind as well. Basswood and Fashionwood come in at the same price. Cedar is a fair bit more expensive.

  4. Cedar The Cedar comes either medium to light or medium to dark. The final finish depends on the “chop of the tree”. This variation attracts some people but puts most off. Other choices specific to Cedar include the size of the blade (46 or 60mm wide), and Oiled or Lacquered Finish (most want Lacquered because Oiled needs constant re-oiling).

  5. Fashionwood The Fashionwood is a high quality PVC Composite. It is designed to withstand heat and humidity unlike ‘Eco’ blinds that are prone to warping. The colour goes all the way through the blade, and isn’t painted on like ‘Eco’ blinds that are easily chipped or scratched. The range comes in 6 colours including 3 shades of White (White, Pearl White & Alabaster, Cedar, Dark Cedar and Ironbark (Light Brown/Tan). All colours are the same price. It is the only Timber range that we do where any sort of White is available.

  6. Basswood The Basswood is a natural timber and comes in at the same price as the Fashionwood. The Basswood range comes in 5 different colours all at the same price. These include Baltic, Chestnut, Golden Oak, Maple and Mocha, which are all varying shades of timber. The Basswood comes standard in 50mm wide blades. They also come standard in a Lacquered finish, and are 100% UV protected and water proof.
