The expulsion from school must be for a period of time of not less than one year except that the Superintendent of the School Board may modify the expulsion period on a case-by –case basis. Formative assessments refer to a student’s understanding of what they can do well and what they can improve. Formative assessments guide the next steps in the learning process. Formative assessments will count as 25% of a student’s quarterly report card grade.

  15. Assessments Continued SUMMATIVE ASSESSMENT Summative assessment provides evidence of a student’s mastery of skills. Summative assessments will count as 75% of a student’s quarterly report card grade.
