  2. Prerequisites • All mandatory courses are passed • IT-seminar passed • Work Placement done • You are enrolled (or have already passed) to Thesis Seminar (THE7TF007) An example of a PowerPoint presentation

  3. 1. Thesis proposition • You will make a thesis proposition to Thesis Co-ordinator (Altti Lagstedt) • Thesis Co-ordinator will check your proposition and appoint you a Thesis Tutor An example of a PowerPoint presentation

  4. 2. Project / Research Plan • You will contact your Tutor and agree first meeting. • In the first official meeting you will submit Tutor your project plan • You will sign Thesis Agreement and Confidentiality Agreement if needed • When project plan is accepted, you may start doing your work / research An example of a PowerPoint presentation

  5. 3. Doing Research / system work • You will act according to research / project plan • Have project meetings with Tutor accordingly • If there is a major change in circumstances, you must contact Tutor immediately An example of a PowerPoint presentation

Reporting project /research • When work is done • You will write a sum-up report of the process • You will give your work to Tutor for evaluation including all the material • Project plan • Research paper / System Work • Sum-up report • Agendas and minutes of the project management meetings An example of a PowerPoint presentation

Maturity test • Tutor will assign an Inspector to co-evaluate your Thesis • When your Thesis is accepted by Tutor and Inspector, you will be invited to Maturity test • When passed your Thesis will go to Thesis evaluation meeting which will agree the final grade An example of a PowerPoint presentation

  8. 6. Final • You have to bind two copies of your Thesis with sum-up report (public parts) into Folders (available in e.g. Kirjasalkku) and submit them to Tutor • You have to submit your Thesis and sum-up report to HH –Library in PDF form (CDROM or Email) • Tutor will take your Theses to HH –Library • Student affairs office will take your grade to Winha after Thesis evaluation meeting An example of a PowerPoint presentation
