  2. About • Chanoyu is a special ceremony celebrated in Japan .The word Chanoyu comes from japan we also can call it Japanese Tea Ceremony. The meaning of Cha is Tea and the meaning of noyu is ceremony. The ceremony has complicated steps and it's has it’s own beliefs and Cultures behind it. Chanoyu is usually celebrated in Spring or Autumn. it can be celebrated in the Japanese Tea House or under the Sakura tree. Some Japanese tea Ceremony have some Dumplings to be served but some don’t.

  3. History of Chanoyu • The Japanese tea ceremony won’t be here if the Chinese People don’t introduce the Green Tea to us. China was the very first country who has created this Ritual, but because Japan and China has relationship between each other it is also done in Japan.The people who has find this is Kakamura he has introduced the Tea ceremony to the Chinese people and Chinese people has brought/share they’re rituals and traditions to Japanese People.

  4. General Steps Of Chanoyu (For People who Drink) Bow when you receive the cup of tea which is called a chawan. Take the chawan with your right hand and place it in the palm of your left hand. Turn the chawan clockwise three times before you take a drink. Drink the chawan in 3 slurps if you can finish the tea in 3 slurps the better. Turn the chawan counterclockwise and return to the host.

  5. General Steps Of Chanoyu (For the tea maker) • Open The Japanese Door • Give the Guest some Japanese Sweets • Bow to the guest • Give the customer a seat • Prepare the tea tools • Make the tea • Give the tea to customer
