  1. Biofertilizer Use in Grapes

  2. Biofertilizer use in grapes INTRODUCTION The recommended biofertilizer for grapes are Azotobacter in combination with PSB. Mycorrhizal inoculation gives additional benefit for mobilizing nutrients. Biofertilizers are applied as set treatment method as well as soil application in standing crop.

  3. BIOFERTILIZER APPLICATION IN GRAPE BIOFERTILIZER RECOMMENDATION AZOTOBACTER PSB MYCORRHIZA

  4. BIOFERTILIZER APPLICATION IN GRAPE SET TREATMENT This method is recommended for treating the sets of sugarcane, cut pieces of potato, banana suckers, hard wood cuttings of grape vines. Grape vines are used for biofertilizer treatment using hardwood cuttings. Healthy pencil-thick stems bearing few buds and the ripened vine should be selected for propagation and biofertilizer application.

  5. BIOFERTILIZER APPLICATION IN GRAPE SET TREATMENT Prepare culture suspension by mixing 1 kg each of nitrogen and phosphatic biofertilizer packets in 40 - 50 litres of water. Immerse the hard wood cuttings of grape vine planting material required for one acre in the suspension for 30 minutes. Bring and dry them in shade for some time before planting. Irrigate the field within 24 hours. For set treatment, the ratio of biofertilizer to water is approximately 1:50.

  6. BIOFERTILIZER APPLICATION IN GRAPE SOIL APPLICATION METHOD Mix 2 –3 kg each of the Azotobacter and PSB culture packets with 100 kg of well decomposed cattle manure/ compost for one acre of land and Sprinkle water to the mixer. Keep the mixer overnight for curing. Broadcast into soil at the time of planting or at the time of irrigation For long duration crop 20-30 packets of biofertilizer (200g) are mixed with 80-120 kg Cattle manure or soil for one acre land.

  7. BIOFERTILIZER APPLICATION IN GRAPE Mycorrhizal Application in Grape • Apply mycorrhizal culture in the grape nursery @ 100 gm per sq.m. three centimeter below the soil. • For out planting, apply 20 gm mycorrhizal culture per seedling into the planting pit and cover with soil. • For existing plant, apply mycorrhizal culture @ 200 gm near the root zone along with other fertilizers.

  8. BIOFERTILIZER APPLICATION IN GRAPE LET US SUM UP The recommended biofertilizer for grapes are Azotobacter in combination with PSB and Mycorrhiza. Biofertilizers are applied as set treatment method as well as soil application in standing crop. Mycorrhizal inoculation gives additional benefit for mobilizing nutrients.

  9. BIOFERTILIZER APPLICATION IN GRAPE LET US SUM UP  Apply mycorrhizal culture @ 100 gm per sq. m three centimeter below the soil in mango nursery, @ 20 gm per seedling for out planting and @ 200 gm near the root zone along with other fertilizers in case of existing plant.
