  1. I want a baby… By PK Patterson

  2. I am a member of several minorities: 1 – I am female 2 – I am homosexual & 3 – I have been in a committed relationship for 12 years 4 – I have a uterine birth defect 5 – We want to have a child anyway

  3. HEART SHAPED I have what is called a “bicornate uterus” According to my physician, this issue should not prevent us from conceiving, only from delivering a full term child.

  4. Bicornate uteri cannot be repaired with surgery because of the heart shaped outer edge. But this defect is often mistaken for a second malformation called a Septate uterus, which is repairable by surgery.

  5. People with a müllerian duct abnormality like mine are often fertile, but due to the abnormality, being pregnant is impossible, and these people will suffer miscarriage after miscarriage. But sometimes, infertility is part of the defect, depending on what part of the uterus did not form correctly. This can cause additional issues for couples trying to conceive. That’s when the conversation turns to Options.

  6. OTPIONS Adoption Donor Options Fertility Medicines IUI IVF/ART Living Childfree Surrogacy

  7. Donor Options or Third Party Reproduction Options – -DONOR SPERM -DONOR EGG -DONOR EMBRYO -CHOOSING BETWEEN DONOR EGG & SURROGATE Adoption – According to the website Resolve – a support site for people dealing with infertility, adoption is initially a difficult option to consider. This is difficult because couples must first grieve for the child that will never be born before they can consider loving someone else’s child. As the website says “they must stop grieving for the children that will never be born with mommy’s nose and daddy’s eyes.”
