  1. From the Lounge Manager Well, if you haven't been to our post 240 eagle lair lounge as of late, it's time to come back and say hi.  If you have, hope you continue to enjoy yourself.   At the present time the post is looking to hire a new manager, but in the mean time we have opened up the old vault and here I am back for the maybe 10th time as your temp manager and seeing Bill is getting old and starting to draw on his social security, he wants something to do so is back a couple of days a week to help right the ship.  We are presently trying to pour off some obsolete beer and liquor stock, so check out the specials posted around the lounge.  To go along with that cold beer, we still have pizza, jumbo dogs, polish sausage, and other sundry snacks at a great price to tide you over.  In addition to  our Friday night karaoke, the last Friday of each month will be, Chill Friday--have a cold one, a little friendly talk, and free juke box from 6 to 11 pm for your pleasure.  We will also have free juke box on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month (non-lounge bingo nights) from 5-10 pm for your enjoyment, and I'm not thru, also on fish fry Sunday and one other Sunday, free juke box from 1- 6pm.  Check your calendar for exact dates and times.  During the entire month of May we are going to have dom beer and well specials fromopen until 4pm every Monday - Friday (that's buck 50 beers and buck 75 wells).  Also, check out Friday night drink special. We still have our Thursday night happy hour (4- 7 pm) on dom beers and well drinks.  We still have 25 cent pool and free shuffle board if that's to your liking.  We want to make your lounge member/patron friendly, so if you have any ideas, stop by and see bill and myself,  we will listen.  Terry  Hello Riders, May is here and it is our time as American Legion Riders to Shine. May 15th  is almost upon us, bring your donations and happy faces and lets host a great ride. If you do not have a job yet please come out and show your support. May is usually our biggest ride, remember it's all for the children.      Upcoming rides for May are; May 1st, VFW in Milton-Poker run for the Honor Flight. This would be a great ride to do, So if you can, GO! call a friend and ride, They are one of our stops on May 15th. May 8th, Navarre Post 382 Poker-run. May 14th-16th Moose riders Spring rally May 22nd, Abate/Hadji Riders Biker Ball Pensacola. May 29th, Poker-run for Ronald McDonald House, Gulf Breeze Pick one or two or ride them all.....Hope to see everyone out on a ride. Be and Ride Safe. For God and Country, J.D.
