Key Events for Next Planning Cycle – proposed – merge activity for FY13 monitoring and FY14 planning • Restructure PBC (one time – now) • Map FY13 actions and objectives to owners’ annual goals (performance review process – now) • Establish membership, charge, project plan/timeline for PBC14 (within next month) • Conduct workshop on planning for members of PBC14 – mid-June • SharePoint site and other communications devices – put these in place – continuous internal communications throughout cycle – mid-June • Environmental scan and ULS SWOT analysis – PBC14 – July-August • Future Search workshop? All staff. August-September? • Quarterly reviews of progress against FY13 plan – Sept, Jan, March/April, June • Strategic option analysis for FY14 prepared and delivered to Sr Staff by PBC14 – October-November • Senior Staff approve strategic option analysis – end November • Draft action items – PBC14 – December-January • All staff workshop to review and prioritize actions (voting) - January • Senior Staff use prioritized list to review and complete FY14 plan – January-February • Senior Staff prepare and share report of FY13 achievements – January-February • Submit FY14 plan to provost’s office – end Feb. • Create FY14 activity list, owners, id resources, and timelines for actions - March • Review and socialize actions and owners lists with supervisors – end March; early April • Communicate who will be working on what to (1) owners and (2) ULS colleagues - April • Map FY14 actions and objectives to owners’ annual goals (performance review process) – April/May • Retire PBC14 (party/recognition event) - June • Start the planning cycle over - March - May
