  1. Mozambique Mission Trip 2007 Hospital Central Beira

  2. Robert F. Kennedy Hospital in Los Angeles was closed and the majority of the medical equipment was donated to the Seton Institute. Catholic University of Beira Medical School and Central Hospital of Beira were chosen as the recipients of the equipment.

  3. The TriMedx Foundation partnered with the Seton Institute to install the equipment in Mozambique. Over 20 containers were shipped from Los Angelas to Beira by the Seton Institute and the Daughters of Charity.. The TriMedx Foundation provided: A 6 man team of clinical engineers All repair parts and PM kits. Covered all of the cost for the team.

  4. Population: Nearly 21,000,000 Mozambique is approximately the size of Texas. 12.2% (1.3 million) of adults in Mozambique have HIV/AIDS. Life expectancy is 40 to 41 years.
