  3. Psychomotor Learning • Mental • procedures (improvise on a theme) • skills (apply rules, tactics) • Psychomotor • Techniques (forming correct embouchure) • Simple combination procedures (double tonguing, scales and arpeggios, drum rudiments) • Foundational (exhaling, fingering, correctly)

  4. Affective Learning 1. Affective learning begins at awareness of a phenomenon. 2. Attending to that phenomenon. 3. Responding to it with a positive feeling. 4. Placing value upon it. 5. Organizing that value within his or her valuation system. 6. Finally, characterizing this value within his or her entire life outlook.
