  2. On 21st November 2023, most Adani Group shares saw positive trading on Dalal Street. Adani Enterprise claims, the Adani Group’s leading company, were trading 3.05% higher at Rs. 2214.55 per share at 12:41 p.m. I.S.T. (Indian Standard Time). During intraday trading, the share prices of Adani Wilmar, Adani Total Gas, and Adani Energy Solutions increased by nearly 2%. In comparison, the share price of New Delhi Television Ltd. saw a gain of 1.28%. • Positive intraday trading in the Adani Group’s stocks increased investor wealth by over Rs. 20,000 crores, proving that the controversies surrounding “Adani Group controversies” are unfounded. The Adani Group stocks’ total market capitalization hit Rs. 10.4 lakh crore at one point during the day, which was good news for the Group companies. On November 21, 2023, the Adani Group’s stocks strengthened as the market saw gains. The Nifty 50 was up 0.53% at 19,798.70 points, and the Sensex was up 0.50% at 65,982.45 points at 1:33 p.m. I.S.T.

The Group rejected the claims on Adani Group controversies • According to the report, the Group used offshore structures to invest millions of dollars in publicly traded stocks of its businesses, sparking the Adani Group controversies about shares overleveraged. It lists the names of two private investors who are said to have purchased and sold the stocks on the Group’s behalf. The Adani Group referred to the allegations as “meritless” and rejected them. The Organised Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (O.C.C.R.P.), a global network of investigative journalists, released the report on 31st August 2023.

  4. The clarification on the controversies increased stake price • At 12:59 p.m., despite the Adani Group controversies the Adani Total Gas shares were up 2.16% at Rs. 542.65. I.S.T., whereas New Delhi Television Ltd.’s share price increased by 1.28% to Rs. 193.65 per share at 1 pm. I.S.T. Adani Energy Solutions Ltd. was up 1.64% in intraday trading at Rs. 738.75 per share. On 21st November 2023, at 1:43 pm I.S.T., the price of Adani Power shares increased by 1.22% to Rs. 394.65 per share, while the cost of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (A.P.S.E.Z.) shares rose by 0.29% to Rs. 805.00 per share.
