  2. Student-led environmental competition between housing communities Purpose is to promote sustainable behavior and environmental education Earn points from programs, events, and contests. What is green games?

Service Projects • 100 points + 5 points per attendee • ex: Volunteer in Battle Park or Hope Gardens • Off-Campus Tour/Trip • 75 points + 5 points per attendee • ex: a trip to the Botanical Gardens or tour of green buildings on campus • Pledge/Floor Drive • 50 points + the % of participants of the dorm’s population • ex: a recycling drive in your dorm • On-campus Event • 30 points + 1 points per attendee • ex: campus lecture, meeting, or movie viewing • Eco-Reps Event • 30 points + 1 points per attendee • ex: Inviting a certified Eco-Rep to attend an event • In-Community Program • 30 points + 3 point per attendee • ex: a viewing of Food Incor making recycled Valentines for a nursing home • BYO Program • 10 points + 1 point per attendee with a 50 point maximum • Hosting a pizza party and requesting that residents bring their own cups and plates How to earn points:

  5. Connor Community set the record for the highest number of points ever achieved by a community last year, at 4956 The number of points scored by all of the communities combined nearly doubled last year, going from 12,709 in 2010-2011 to 21,509 in 2011-2012 Record participation
