  3. Cluster Communication Edmodo • Used for all core class information: Homework, tests, upcoming events • Parents can sign up • There is an App (not as friendly as efficient as logging into the computer)

Codes for Grade Speed Note section will show: • Absent • Not turned in • Missing (MSG) (counts as a zero until work is completed) MSG Grade has not been entered 0 Zero Effort, Week expired not able to turn in assignment This assignment is excused. The student will not have to make up this assignment EXC Indicates assignment has been seen, but it needs to be redone. 1

  7. PLEASE HELP US WITH MISSING WORK! • 75 out of 130 students earned a free dress pass this six weeks  • Check Grade speed on a regular basis • Remember to sign the late work form • If in doubt ask the teacher Missing Work

Class Information Math News… • Math question of the day • Does your child have math homework everyday? • YES! • Active participation is encouraged by all students • Textbooks have been handed out! Yay!!!! • Go Math! Textbook • Each student has received their textbook and should bring to class each day • Students have been given login/passwords for online textbook • Students may write in their textbook but may NOT tear any pages out of their textbook • Hold students accountable for showing their work for each assignment • Justify/Explain vs. Show work

  11. Class Information Science News… • Raise grade by doing extra credit! Extra Credit will start next six weeks. Complete one Science Current Event (located on cluster blog). • Study class notes and read text book daily, not just when we have a test or quiz. • Late work will bring grades down! • Currently working on Cells, next Heredity, and lastly Body Systems. • Ask to see your child's Interactive Notebook.
