  3. Ethics of Lingayat Religion with respect to History Inception of Lingayat religion plays very important role in historical perspective. Wherein lot of instances of caste based harassments to masses found from history of India. The society was infected by untouchablity, intolerance, wickedness, improper distribution of resources, denial of education, rejection of intelligence, and so on. Even then and now also it seems the society doesn’t came out from the clutches. But strange thing is that all these wickedness don’t have any base. Guru Basaveshwara studied the past and created a Historical solution to the above.

It sincerely deals with the study of human social behavior and its origins, development, organizations, and institutions. Lingayat religion has been providing us results of experiments done with respect to social sciences such as analysis of social knowledge, social action and functions. It covers micro level of individual to macro level of systems and the social structure through Vachana literature.

Lingayat religion offers perfect elaboration of “All spheres of human activity are affected by the interplay between social structure and individual agency” Lingayat religion has availed effective focus to latest aspects of sociology, such as health, medical, environmental sociology, political economy and the role of social activity in the development of scientific knowledge for welfare all the living beings.

Ethics of Lingayat Religion with respect to Philosophy The Lingayat religion is well equipped and stable enough to fulfill the all aspects to provide "love of wisdom" (literal meaning of Philosophy). Philosophies of Lingayat religion propose scientific reasoning, virtual mentality, progressive vision, democratic and universal welfare in lucid and common mans words. Holy Vachana literature is treasure of inspiration in all the walks of life.

Ethics of Lingayat Religion with respect to Phenomenology The Lingayat religion describe the method to make possible “a descriptive account of the essential structures of the directly given.” Vachana literature is competent to emphasize the immediacy of experience, the attempt to isolate it and set it off from all assumptions of existence or causal influence and lay bare its essential structure. It restricts the philosopher's attention to the pure data of consciousness, uncontaminated by metaphysical theories or scientific assumptions. Husserl's concept of the life-world—as the individual's personal world as directly experienced—expressed this same idea of immediacy.

Five Practices (Panchachara): Sadachara, Shivachara, Lingachara, Brutyachara and Ganachara. Six Stages (aims) (Shatsthala): Bhakta, Mahesha, Prasadi, Pranalingi, Sharana and Aikya.
