  2. Natural Resources: What are they? Natural resources are naturally occurring materials such as air, soil, water, wildlife and plants that are produced through the earth’s natural processes. These resources can be either renewable or non-renewable.

  3. The Georgia Department of Natural Resources The Georgia Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is responsible for conserving, managing, and protecting these natural resources.
