That is why we decided that we should take full responsibility to arrange them for you and to “paint” your business, in order to make your work easier. DESCRIPTION OF CHOSEN BUSINESS EuroChim Ltd, Bucharest was registered in 1982 as a commercial company and a technique representation of some great European companies which produce substances like colors, pigments, chemical auxiliaries for the textile industry, the processing industry of leathers and fur, resins and chemical additives for the industry of paints and other chemical products .

5. BUSINESS NEEDS The intricate nature of the company's rules and procedures make the necessity of storing and easily accessing immense amounts of information. The business has in view promoting on the Romanian market the chemical products brought from the great European producers. The purpose of the business is the foreign industrial trade.Every year the company’s interests increases with 15% because on the Romanian market more and more foreign chemical products arrive and more producers cooperate with EuroChim in order to promote their products. Having to work with such amount of data, an organized system was necessary. Our purpose was to create an efficient and reliable database which can be used by any employee.

7. ERD DOCUMENTATION Client  A factory which deals with a chemical industry and uses the products distributed by EuroChim. Documentation  The prospect where the substance is described from a chemical (it can be specified the color), physical and ecological point of view ( CAS = a code through which it can be found out if the substance can be used in another, illegal purpose) and which includes the usage way. In every industry many and different chemical substances are used. For example the pigments are used in the textile industry. Attribute Customs from entity Demand  For each delivery transport it must be paid a tax imposed by the law according to the product’s type.

8. ERD DOCUMENTATION THE RELATIONSHIP AMONG THE EMPLOYEES OF A COMPANY: The manager is the one who is contacted by the subsidiary and decides if the substance will be tested. If he agrees, he sends the substance to the technician who makes the ecological test. If the result is positive, he sends it to the chemist. This one makes the laboratory test, then the industrial test andhe will inform the manager if the result is good or not. The manager decides whether he will buy this product or not and if he does, then he will contact the economist who will deal with finance. The European producers send the technical documentation (which includes all chemical, physical, ecological data and how the product is used) and samples to Bucharest. These are then send to the subsidiaries which distribute in the Romanian industry, in each subsidiary’s profile.

9. ADDITIONAL EXPLANATIONS A storehouse can store chemical substances which belong to different chemical industries. At the beginning, the producer sends samples of chemical substances and only if their price and quality satisfy the client’s demands, the order is placed, and considerable quantities are being sent. The payment must be accomplished in a month’s time from the order’s placement. The subsidiary’s economist checks at the head office if the client paid and, only in this case, he allows the client to take his merchandise from the storehouse. If the payment was not accomplished in time, the order is cancelled and the merchandise remains in the storehouse until another client requests it.

10. ASSUMPTIONS The head office can have more accounts in only one bank. At Bucharest, all the orders in the country are collected and the foreign producers are contacted in order to place the final order on a production plan. It is announced the delivery deadline and the transport data. The merchandise is submitted to customs when entering Romania, according to the product and its origin. It is not compulsory for a subsidiary to have a storehouse. In this case, the clients are supplied with goods from another storehouse of another subsidiary. The transport of a merchandise is made by the foreign producers directly to the storehouses of the subsidiaries. From here the merchandise is taken by the client.
