  3. Support Continued • Stipends Provided for After School Meetings and Professional Development for Staff

  4. BIT TEAM – DATA TEAM • Principal/Executive coach • EIST • Teachers from Each Grade Levels • Specialists • Parents • Board Member

  5. Role of Data/BIT Team • Develop School Improvement Plan • Oversee/Monitor Implementation of Plan • Gather and Analyze Data • Use Data to Evaluate and Revise Plan

  6. Role of Data/Bit Team • Continuously oversee and implement the Improvement Cycle.

  7. Role of Grade Level Data Team • Set Performance Goals • Gather and Analyze Data • Use Data to Improve Instruction and Assessment Practices through ongoing engagement in the Improvement Cycle

  8. Role of Classroom Teacher • Work with Grade Level Data Team to Identify and Implement Effective Instruction and Assessment Practices • Use Results to Assist Team in ongoing Improvement Efforts

  9. Role of Executive Coach • Work with Principal and School Data Team • Assist in Analysis of Data • Assist in Development and Implementation of School Improvement Plan • Assist in Monitoring Implementation of Plan

  10. CALI Support/Training • Effective Teaching Strategies and Differentiated Instruction – 2 days • Looking at Student Work – 2 days • Data Team Leader Support – 1 day

  11. Evaluation/Success • Evaluation at end of 2008-2009 School Year by UCONN • Improved Student Performance over time based on Cohort Groups of same students from year to year
