  2. How does the Director make the Character seem powerful? Watch the clip again. • What camera angles are used? Why? • What Camera shots are used? Why? • What costumes are used? Why? • What lighting is used? Why? • Anything else?

  4. The director makes ‘Pepper’ seem powerful by showing her control through costume and colour. She is always organised and able to deal with a crisis. We can see her calmness in her costume which is usually a white shirt or a black dress. She also has dialogue which tells Iron Man “NO” in a two shot with him. This could mean that she sees the world in a black and white way. She is definite and decisive which means she is in control of her ideas and can respond calmly.The fact that she tells iron man what to do shows that although she doesn’t have the suit, she is just as powerful.This is also shown by the fact that she and Iron man are shown on the same level in the two shot. The two shot could also show the closeness of their relationship and how much of a team they are. Overall, Pepper is shown to be quietly powerful as a person who organises Iron man and tries to keep him safe.
