  1. Philosophical chair expectations • No name calling, rude comments or derogatory language. • Do not share tickets. You get two chances to talk. Everyone needs an opportunity. • If I see paper, pencils, or any other object THROWN throughout philosophical chair, I will end the discussion and you will silently write an essay instead. • Additionally, if you cannot respect the “one speaker at a time” rule, we will stop the discussion and silently write instead.

  2. Grading • You are getting grading on sharing AT LEAST once today during our primary discussion. • If you choose not to share here is how you make up partial credit: • Type a one page, double spaced essay explaining what the OPPOSING team’s point of view was. Use examples from their arguments. This will ensure that you were listening during the discussion.
