  2. Teach the Gospel! Acts 8:1-13

  3. Teaching • Teaching is instruction. • It is imparting knowledge or skill. • Our teaching may be introducing new knowledge to some people. • Our teaching may be enhancing or increasing knowledge. • Our teaching may require correcting false information.

  5. What should we teach? Romans 1:16-17 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, ‘The righteous shall live by faith.”

  6. What should we teach? Ephesians 2:11-13 “Therefore remember that at one time you Gentiles in the flesh, called ‘the uncircumcision’ by what is called the circumcision, which is made in the flesh by hands – remember that you were at that time separated from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.”

  7. What should we teach? 1 Timothy 1:15 “The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost.”

  8. What should we teach? 1 John 3:4 “Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness.”

  9. What should we teach?

  10. What should we teach? Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

  11. What should we teach? Isaiah 59:1-2 “Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save, or his ear dull, that it cannot hear; but your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear.”

  12. What should we teach?

  13. What should we teach? 2 Corinthians 5:14-21
