  3. Florida High’s School Rules • Cell phones are allowed on campus but can only be used during the 5 minutes between classes.

Permission: How can this be okay? • VA.912.C.1.5 Analyze how visual information is developed in specific media to create a recorded visual image. • VA.912.S.1.2 Investigate the use of technology and other resources to inspire art-making decisions. • VA.912.S.1.8 Use technology to simulate art-making processes and techniques. • VA.912.O.2.4 Concentrate on a particular style, theme, concept, or personal opinion to develop artwork for a portfolio, display, or exhibition. • VA.912.H.1.5 Investigate the use of technology and media design to reflect creative trends in visual culture.

  6. Supplies • Computer • Printer • Photos • Zoom Album Creator $$ (zoomalbum.net) or • Photo paper, labels, cutting board, spray adhesive, chip board

  7. The process • Determine what your project’s theme will be. • Pop culture • Digital sketchbooks • ANYTHING! Once you have the theme, start photographing. (If a student doesn’t have a phone, they can use a regular camera)

  8. The process continued • Run the photos through an effects editing program or application. • Instagram • Built in editing programs • Online editing programs pixlr.com (pixl-o-matic) for photos taken with a standard digital camera

  9. The process continued • Once you have all your photographs begin the technology process. • Compile your photos on the computer • Import photos to InDesign or Photoshop • Print out documents • Put together book
