  2. Results • Two strains of drosophila, C56 and C17, were tested. • The results of the lab showed that the intestines and salivary glands of the C56 strain stained blue very well while C17 did not stain significantly.

  3. Identification • To identify which tissues and organs were stained, we compared the larval tissues to a diagram of larval anatomy found at www.biol.sc.edu/~vogt/courses/neuro/flylarva.pdf • There were obvious similarities between the tissues identified and the diagrams.
