  2. Exam Notes Candidates testing Sept 13, 2014 through Oct 11, 2014 will be tested on Federal laws in effect on Jan 1, 2014 Mid-year changes are NOT reflected on either of the exams

FPC • FPC – Fundamental Payroll Certification • Testing payroll basics • Curriculum-based • No experience required • Designed for entry-level payroll staff and peripheral practitioners, such as customer service, system designers, and sales personnel • Three hour test / 150 multiple choice questions • 25 Pre-Test Questions – answer all questions!! • Three-year re-certification period • 60 RCH credit hours required or re-certify by re-examination • *FPC’s who subsequently pass the CPP exam may not re-certify for FPC. At the end of the current FPC certification period, the FPC designation will expire for CPP’s.

Testing Tips • Locate testing center prior to exam day • Plan to arrive 30 minutes early! • Be well rested on exam day • Last minute cramming will increase anxiety • Practice with your calculator prior to exam • Be aware of remaining time during exam (on-line testing system allows you to track time) • Answer those questions that you feel sure about first • Group calculation questions together • Go back an answer questions “marked for review” • Do not leave blanks on the exam
