  2. HabitatThey live near coastlines and around islands and in bays. They especially are found in areas with sea grass beds.

  3. IdentificationAdults are 3.5 to 4 feet in carapace length. The green sea turtle is green and it has a single claw on each flipper. A green sea turtle weighs 300 to 400 pounds.

  4. FoodIt eats worms, young crustaceans, insects, grasses and algae.

  5. Threats The harm is commercial harvest for eggs and food.

  7. ReproductionThey lay eggs every 2 to 3 or more years. At least 115 eggs. It takes about 60 days to hatch.
