Legislative and public policy initiatives at the federal level • NAHU has developed strong working relationships with members of both parties and has been instrumental in: • Passing HSA legislation • Passing Medicare Advantage legislation • Removing the “Public Option” from health reform • Coordinating repeal of Minimum Loss Ratio rules and other health reform laws that are bad for the health insurance market
