  3. Progress so far • 2001 - 2005 – trials throughout the World • 2006 – Rotary formally introduced the Plan • Made information available to all Rotarians • Promoted the benefits

  4. What is it? • A process • Respects the Four Avenues of Service, and • Value of strong Club administration • Suggests different focus

  5. What it offers… A process to: • Develop a long-range plan • Simplify your Committee structure • Involve all of your Club members

  6. What the Plan suggests… Focus in four broad areas • Sustain and increase membership • Implement successful service projects • Support The Rotary Foundation • Develop leaders beyond Club level

  7. What the Plan suggests… A healthy Rotary Club is a successful one • Retains existing members • Great shop window for new members • Members engaged in projects of choice • Implement successful service projects

  8. What the Plan suggests… A successful Rotary Club is one that: • Develops long-range goals • Sets annual goals • Involves all Members in planning process • Ensures that every member is active in a Club project or function

  9. And so to today’s meeting… Our aim is to provide you with: • Key aspects of Club Leadership Plan • Understanding of key points • Understanding of that process • Confidence to pursue in your club
