  2. New Evaluation • Allows for aggregation of data to show an impact on a larger scale • Still allows for personalization by county • Plans for a Spanish version is underway • Pre or Post can be bubbled in before making copies • The first 9 questions are all the same • The next 9 questions are selected from list of 20 questions in the drop-down menu • Back of form has 3 options: • Yes/No/I Don’t know – True/False – Multiple Choice

  3. The first 9 questions are the same on all versions. Questions can be “turned off” if they do not apply. The next 9 questions are selected from a drop-down menu. Bubble in Pre or Post before copying.

  4. Can write your own questions here. These questions will not be able to aggregated into state-wide data, but you can still get results back from Organizational Development for your county’s summary data. Yes/No/ I Don’t Know Format Again, questions can be “turned off” if you do not need them.

  7. First Nine Questions • Agriculture touches my life every day. • Agriculture affects your life if you eat or wear clothes. • Texas farmers and ranchers work hard to provide a safe, affordable food supply. • Eating meat is an important part of a healthy and balanced diet. • Eating fruits and vegetables is an important part of a healthy and balanced diet. • Agriculture is more than food. • Agriculture will be less important as our population gets larger and more people live in the city. • If farmers did not raise farm animals or grow crops, I would not be able to eat foods such as pizza and hamburgers. • I am going home to tell my parents about the importance of agriculture.

  8. Drop-Down Menu Questions • Meat from livestock provides a good source of protein. • Dairy cattle are raised for meat. • Steaks and hamburgers come from beef cattle. • Bacon, eggs and ham come from pigs. • Dairy foods (like milk, cheese, and yogurt) help me grow strong bones and teeth. • I should have 2-3 servings of dairy products every week. • Eggs are a good source of protein. • Protein (from foods like meat and eggs) helps build strong muscles. • Some breeds of goats are used for meat, another breed is used for mohair. • Wool comes from sheep and can be made into clothing like sweaters.

  9. Drop-Down Menu Questions…Continued • Grains (like wheat, corn, and rice) provide my body with carbohydrates which gives me energy. • Wheat is made into flour which makes foods like bread, pasta, and crackers. • Tortillas, chips, sodas, and popcorn can be made from corn. • Cotton (like our clothes, cotton balls, etc.) comes from a plant. • Many of our clothes (like blue jeans) are made of cotton. • Leather comes from the cotton plant. • Water can come from the ground. • It is not important to conserve water because we have more than we’ll ever need. • My body gets water by eating foods with water in them and by drinking water. • 10% of my body is made of water, so I only need to drink water a few times a week to survive.
