    4. Time Line of Events This Event occurred in the year of 1893 This Event occurred in the year of 1899 This event happened in the year of 1890 Crisis And triumph Open Door Policy McKinley Tariff Act

    5. Crisis And Triumph This Event is about William McKinley loaning his friend $100,000 to start a business. This event started because his friend asked him for a loan to start a business manufacturing tin plates. The result of this event is the business fail and he was held responsible to pay off the loans.

McKinley Tariff Act McKinley Tariff Act was about people buy more foreign products and not paying for taxes The event first occurred because William McKinley wanting to protect the American Industries for their foreign competition. The outcome of this event is that the businesses grew and thats when some social problems occurred.

    7. Open Door Policy Open door Policy was about is a term used in international relations. It means that powerful countries have equal opportunities to trade with colonial or developing countries. When countries agree to observe the Open-Door Policy in an area, they simply agree to permit their merchants and investors to trade freely there. The start of this event is John Hay had an idea to open the doors in 1899. At that time all western powers had special interests in china. All of the power was trying to get the trading rights for them self's As a result of this event John Hay sent notes to all nations competing powers, asking them to trade with China. The competing powers all accepted the proposal and the signed treaties agreeing to observe the open Door Policy.

    8. President Evaluation President William McKinley was a caring president. Before he would make a decision he would think of the consequences before making a move. As a result of his thinking all choices were the right choice. The money that he invest in his party paid off because he protected the foreign products and his business grew.
