  3. Left Brain Lerner • Sees in parts • Logical • Learns in numbered steps • Follows in straight line • Likes words; detail oriented • Orderly; organized • Analytical; needs instruction book

  4. Right Brain learner • Sees the whole picture • Creative • Learns by figuring things out • Sees the pattern • Likes images • Spontaneous • Remembers names • Doesn’t need instruction book

  5. Auditory • Learns more effectively through hearing, verbal instructions

  6. Visual • Learns from seeing, • Thinks in pictures • Learns more from reading than hearing instructions

  7. Kinesthetic • Prefers to learn by doing, • Hands-on instruction • Touch is important

  8. Introvert • Quieter • More private • Are shy and more comfortable with familiar circumstances • Crowds make them uncomfortable

  9. Extrovert • Are outgoing • Like the sanguine personality types • They do well in crowds • Enjoy meeting new people • Tend to be talkers and doers • Looking for the action • Thrives on activity

  10. It is important to know yourself and to be aware of your habits and skills. Gaining a solid knowledge of who you are is one of the most important steps of your development.
