  4. Karula National Park • Founded in 1993 • Area 12 300 ha • Highest point is Tornimägi (137,8m) • 38 lakes • Over 150 bird spieces

  5. Soomaa National Park • Founded in 1993 • Area of bogs and mires • 5 large bogs, native forests and flooded meadows. • Fifth season

  6. Vilsandi National Park • Founded in 1993 • Vilsandi is rich in seabirds • Over 30 species of orchids • About 150 islands • Seals

  7. Matsalu National Park • Estonia’s best-known national park • Nearly 50 islands and islets • Europe’s most important stopover sites for waterfowl • The most important wetland bird areas in Europe
