Student Textbook: The Language of Literature by McDougal Littell (Each student needs to have a textbook at home) Class Supplies: 1 Composition Book each semester 1 Pair of ear phones or ear buds 1 Pencil Pouch 1 Agenda (1 is provided yearly, once student loses it the cost for replacement is $5.00) 1 Pencil Sharpener 1 Flash Drive

  3. Agenda: Please check your child’s Agenda for notes sent home (Missing Assignment Reports, School News, Homework/Class Assignments, etc…) Grades can be checked on Mohave anytime of the day.   4. Novel Wise Project: Routine Writing-Weekly Reading Log Reading 4 Chapter Books from the Novel Wise Collection (1 each quarter). Explanatory (Narrative) Projects (1 each quarter) Social Studies and Science Collaboration in Writing Assignment: Argumentative (Research Inquiry)- Social Studies Focus Explanatory (Narrative)- Science Focus Explanatory (Narrative)- Social Studies Argumentative (Research Inquiry) – Science Focus

  5. 21st Century Information: Begins after Labor Day , Sept 2nd Students will be invited by invitation to start with. Invitations will begin to go out the week of Aug 25th. These invitations are based on academic need. After labor day, parents can pick up Applications in the office and students will go on a waiting list. All students are required to participate in academic tutoring/homework help/ from 3-4.
