Answers amid trial Those who have not been inclosed in the walls of a prison without cause or provocation can have but a little idea how [sweet] the voice of a friend is (1) one token of friendship from any source whatever a wakens and calls into action every sympathetic feeling… until finally all enmity malice and hatred and past differences misunderstandings and mismanagements be slain victims (2) at the feet of hope and when (3) the heart is sufficiently contrite then the (4) voice of inspiration steals along and whispers Then D&C 121: 7-9
