  1. The fire on mount Carmel : -carmit- The fire started because 2 14-year old  boys smoked a cigarette on Mount Carmel and did not put it out. The fire was in the : Carmel National Park , Tirat Carmel ,  Aasfia , street  on Haifa , Megadim Kfar Sitrin - Or Avner , EinHud . The fire was from  December  2, 2010 to December 5 ,  on Hanukkah . 44 people were killed ! The fire caused a lot of damage : Damaged furniture and ecological damage , 5 million trees were burned (40 acres) , 74buildings were destroyed at Kibbutz Beit Oren, EinHod and YeminOrde , carmel . The animals in the nature reserve - Bar Caramel  were released so they could escape, and later  evacuated and survived. All reptiles .  have been destroyed and other animals were hurt

Before the fire - People had fun, watched TV, played computer,Then on December 2 , the fire sterted and the residents were evacuated  [about 17 000]Some residents went to family / hotel / hostel After the fire people returned to their house and the house was burnt, There were special situations  that people returned to their homes and everything was burnt  except for the mezuzah  . The "Levy" , lived in Tirat Caramel evacuated like everyone else in their house and went to the family while the fire was burning. When they returned to their home at the end to TiratCarmel ,they were shocked ! The whole house was burnt except the tefillin,and mezuzah !

  3. Many countries helped us put out the fire : Azerbaijan - two helicopters off the Emergencies Ministry. Italy - 2 planes United States - two Hercules transport planes Bulgaria - two aircraft and 120 firemen Germany - Planes Netherlands - Off Plane United Kingdom - 3 helicopters PA - 3 vehicles and 21 firefighters Turkey - 2 planes and 2 helicopters Greece- 4 planes an airplane model supply Bombardier 415 Jordan - 3 trucks Egypt - plane, two helicopters and fire fighting materials Spain - 4 planes France - 3 jets and Canada - 3 planes and 3 helicopters Cyprus - an airplane and a helicopter Croatia - 2 planes Romania - Helicopter Switzerland - planes and 3 helicopters
