  5. Added extra (over Easter) Can you take photos for any of the themes??? Next 3 weeks For each of the 3 themes create a mind map and mood board.

  6. Here are some to start researching, but you need to select the ones that interest you and select the theme you think they fit. Some will cross over themes. • You should add to this list and for each there needs to be:- • Examples of their work • Your initial reaction to the images (what caught your eye) • Information on the photographer • What can you take as inspiration / ideas for your own work Present BOTH photographers on an A3 sheet. Must see masters:- Andreas Gursky Bernd Becher Albert Renger-Patzsch Josef Sudek Edward Weston Michael Kenna Art Wolfe Robert Polidori Emily AllchurchBeatrice Helg Mari Mahr David Hockney Anthony Wellor Ted Vancleaves Andrew ProkosJonas Bendiksen Research Find a minimum of 2 photographers that have focused on each theme. DEADLINE:- Friday 20th April (for work and trip money and forms) At this point you should have a MIND MAP + MOOD BOARD + A3 sheet of research for EACH starting point (9 sheets in total)

Create an A3 page on FOUNTAIN ABBEY General information, Images, Maps, etc. What to do on the day You are to record the whole day and then create a ‘diary’ style page in your book documenting the day. Take a range of photos that cover the 3 themes (you will need a note book to record what you have taken for each theme) Trip preparation Take with you:- Sensible footwear (there will be a lot of walking), water proof, ALL FOOD, camera, spare battery, notebook, pen, money, phone + anything else you think you will need. We leave at 8am

Create your ‘visual diary’ of the day on an A3 sheet, print out and present Now we are back… What to do this week? • Print out a contact sheet for each theme • From this select up to 10 images to print out (4 to a page) • These need evaluating Select which ‘theme’ you wish to continue working on and developing. Start editing the photos from your photo-shoot, remember to reference other Photographers when doing this. (you may need to research more) Remember to do ‘print screens’ to show what you are doing. Present work in book and print a final selection on photographic paper ( See your teacher when ready to do this!!) DEADLINE HALF TERM 1ST JUNE
