  2. Most of Iraq is very hot. In the summer it is usually 104 degrees, and in the winter 69 degrees. The northern mountain area of Iraq can have heavy snow though.

  3. There are cities and country sides in Iraq.

  4. People in Iraq eat mostly rice, chicken, and lamb. They eat vegetables like tomato, okra, onion, and aubergine. They eat fruits like dates, apricots, raisins, and figs.

  5. Football is the most popular sport in Iraq. Here in America we call it soccer.

  6. Most of the people in Iraq are Muslim. The language they speak is either Arabic or Kurdish.

  7. Money in Iraq is called dinar.
