  6. The Apostles Creed I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth: And in Jesus Christ His only Son, Our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried, the third day he rose from the dead , he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;.

  7. The Apostles Creedcont. • from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. • I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

  8. The Prayer Response Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.

  9. The Prayer Responsecont. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

  10. The Old Testament Psalm 1 (NKJV) 1Blessed is the manWho walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,    Nor stands in the path of sinners,    Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord,    And in His law he meditates day and night.3 He shall be like a tree    Planted by the rivers of water,    That brings forth its fruit in its season,    Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.

  11. The Old Testament Psalm 1 (NKJV) 4 The ungodly are not so,But are like the chaff which the wind drives away.5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment,Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6 For the Lord knows the way of the righteous,But the way of the ungodly shall perish.

  12. Gloria Patri Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost; As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen, Amen.

  13. The New Testament Mark 9:30-37(NKJ) 30 Then they departed from there and passed through Galilee, and He did not want anyone to know it. 31 For He taught His disciples and said to them, “The Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of men, and they will kill Him. And after He is killed, He will rise the third day.” 32 But they did not understand this saying, and were afraid to ask Him. 33 Then He came to Capernaum. And when He was in the house He asked them, “What was it you disputed among yourselves on the road?”

  14. The New Testament Mark 9:30-37(NKJ) 34 But they kept silent, for on the road they had disputed among themselves who would be the greatest. 35 And He sat down, called the twelve, and said to them, “If anyone desires to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.” 36 Then He took a little child and set him in the midst of them. And when He had taken him in His arms, He said to them, 37 “Whoever receives one of these little children in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me, receives not Me but Him who sent Me.”

  15. All Things Come of Thee All things come of Thee, O Lord, And of Thine own have we given Thee. Amen.
