  4. Milestones… it has to go! • Research based it’s not effective for our students • Unrealistic context for reading • Doesn’t provide tools for reading strategies

  5. What can we do ? • Seek for training with the materials you have in your classroom • Meet with the Reading Specialist and develop a plan using all the resources in your Teacher Ed. Book • Compile all the resources that goes with your materials. • Stop BUYING or developing your own materials!! It’s all in there!!
